1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using CogniPage, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

CogniPage is a desktop application and accompanying cloud service that captures what you read locally, generates AI flashcards and assessments, schedules spaced recall, and provides learning analytics. Some features require an account and an active subscription or available credits.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

4. Subscriptions & credits

  • CogniPage is free to download and try. AI-powered features may require a subscription or credits.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your plan from the in-app billing portal.
  • Credit top-ups are one-time purchases; allowances and expiry are shown in the app.
  • Prices may change with notice; changes do not affect the current paid period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by: reverse-engineering or circumventing technical limits; reselling or sharing access; uploading unlawful content or content you have no right to process; or attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to our systems.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the materials you create and the content you process. You grant us a limited licence to process that content only to provide the features you request (for example, generating flashcards or analytics). We do not use your content to train AI models. 7. Intellectual property

CogniPage, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer any rights to you except the limited right to use the app as intended.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". AI-generated flashcards, assessments, grading, and analytics may contain errors and should not be relied upon as professional, medical, legal, or academic advice. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CogniPage and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using CogniPage at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service in a way that risks harm to others or to the service. On termination, your right to use the app ends; sections that by nature survive will remain in effect.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
