Account, plans and AI credits

Sign in, choose a plan, top up credits, and see exactly what each AI action costs you.

CogniPage works without an account: capture, scheduling and reviewing existing cards all run locally. An account buys two things — the AI features that write your cards, quizzes and reflections, and sync between your devices.

Where Account

Signing in

Create an account or sign in from the Account page. Your session is kept in the operating system's own credential store — the macOS Keychain or Windows Credential Manager — not in a file in the app's folder. Forgotten your password? Request a reset from the sign-in form; the emailed link opens a page where you set a new one.

You can edit your display name here, and Sign out at any time.

AI credits

Every AI action spends credits: generating flashcards, building and grading an assessment, structuring a document, writing a reflection, refreshing suggestions and building a KWL chart. Nothing else does — capture, scheduling, reviewing and all the analytics that are computed from your own history are free and local. On-device transcription is free too, because it runs on your machine.

The Account page shows your balance, how much of the current period's allowance is left, and when it resets.

Plans

Monthly

A credit allowance every month, renewed on your billing date.

Yearly

The same thing at a lower effective rate, billed once a year.

Both include the full AI feature set and cross-device sync. Choose or switch plans from the Account page — checkout opens in your browser, handled by Stripe; CogniPage never sees your card details. Switching between monthly and yearly is a button, and takes effect at the next billing point.

Topping up

Ran low before your allowance resets? Buy credits sells one-off packs at a fixed per-credit price. Purchased credits are used after your allowance and roll over for a fixed number of days, shown on the page.

Managing billing

Manage billing opens the Stripe customer portal in your browser, where you can change your payment method, download invoices, and cancel. Cancelling leaves your access running until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cards you have already generated are yours; they keep working, and reviewing them never needs credits.

Running out mid-session is not a disaster.

When credits run out, AI features stop and everything else carries on exactly as before. Turn on Credit alerts in Notifications for a quiet heads-up before you get there.

Deleting your account

Email support@cognipage.io and we will delete the account and all its cloud data. To remove what is on your own machine, see Privacy and your data.
